Terms and Conditions

1. Hire agreement

These terms apply to drink printer hire services provided by Foam & Ink. A booking is confirmed once the booking fee is received and we have accepted your event date.

2. Booking fee and payment

  • A £150 booking fee is required to hold your date. This fee is non-refundable.
  • A £300 damage deposit is held alongside your booking and refunded within seven working days of the machine returning in good condition.
  • For weddings and parties, the balance is due 60 days before the event. Corporate bookings are paid upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellation

  • Cancel more than 60 days before your event: you lose only the booking fee; any balance already paid is refunded in full.
  • Cancel within 60 days of your event: the hire fee is non-refundable.
  • The damage deposit is always returned in full on cancellation.
  • Postponements will be moved to a new date at no extra cost where reasonably possible.

4. Delivery and return

The machine is delivered by courier, typically arriving the working day before your event. A pre-paid return label is included. The machine must be returned within two working days of your event ending.

5. Use at the venue

The hirer is responsible for providing a suitable power supply and a safe, stable surface for the machine. The machine is self-serve; no operator is provided unless separately agreed.

6. Damage and loss

Normal cosmetic wear and tear is accepted. Genuine damage or loss may be deducted from the damage deposit. The hirer is responsible for the machine from delivery until it is received back by us.

7. Designs and content

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any designs submitted. We reserve the right to refuse designs that are offensive, infringe third-party rights, or are unsuitable for printing.

8. Liability

We carry public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the hire fee paid, except where prohibited by law. If the machine fails beyond repair during your event, we will offer a full refund of the hire fee.
